11-11-2021: Sinterit introduced the Lisa X
It was large-format version of the Lisa desktop SLS 3D printer
On November 11, 2021, Sinterit—a Polish manufacturer of desktop SLS 3D printers—officially unveiled the Lisa X, a large-format version of its flagship model, Lisa. The new 3D printer used less material and energy due to its compact design and fast production time. Its build chamber measured 130 x 170 x 330 mm, with a print speed of 10 to 14 millimeters per hour for PA12 material.
During the design process of the new machine, Sinterit focused on creating a solution equipped with a powerful industrial-grade laser and a Galvo scanner, operating at speeds comparable to much more expensive SLS systems available on the market. The company promoted the Lisa X as the fastest and largest desktop SLS 3D printer in terms of build volume.
Sinterit advertised the Lisa X as the “fastest compact SLS 3D printer” on the market. For example, it highlighted the ability to produce 270 sets of electrical connectors in just 28 hours, a significant upgrade compared to the second-generation Lisa PRO model, which would take over 490 hours for the same job.
The Lisa X was open to materials from other suppliers, providing access to a wide range of both in-house and third-party materials. Users could manually adjust 3D printing parameters to maximize the chosen material’s performance, making it an ideal solution for research labs and material developers who could fine-tune settings to optimize print quality and results.
The 3D printer debuted on November 16, 2021, at the Formnext trade fair in Frankfurt, Germany.
