Atomic Layer of the Day:
In 50 days, on November 19, 2024, the 10th edition of the Formnext trade fair will take place in Frankfurt, Germany. The event will last four days.
Despite the very difficult economic situation in Germany and turbulence in the global economy, the organizers claim that the event is shaping up to be another success. By the end of September, 820 companies had already registered, with 61% of them being international exhibitors. Once again, Formnext 2024 will become the most important international meeting point for the 3D printing industry.
This year's edition will focus on the integration of additive manufacturing with existing production processes. Key themes will also include the integration of artificial intelligence in 3D printing, the growing importance of robotics and automation, as well as the increasing role of additive technologies in medicine and dentistry. Special seminars will be dedicated to designing for 3D printing and surface treatment of printed components.
