Atomic Layer of the Day:
Another good news for the AM industry! All3DP - one of the largest (if not the largest...?) 3D printing portals in the world has just obtained additional funding for the development of its global 3D printing services platform - Craftcloud.
The new funding round was led by the HZG Group. The new investor joins existing shareholders such as High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Bayern Kapital, and Deutsche Balaton AG. The funds will primarily be used to accelerate the international expansion of the platform.
Craftcloud allows customers to order 3D printing services. Users can upload a digital model of a part and receive real-time quotes from over 180 international providers, all of whom have been pre-verified by the platform. Craftcloud offers complete transparency, enabling customers to compare prices, supplier locations, and production processes, making it one of the most transparent platforms on the market.
All3DP.com, the company’s online magazine, complements its services by attracting readers with reviews, expert articles, and news about 3D printing. With over 1.5 million monthly visits, All3DP.com is a global market leader.
Mathias Plica, Managing Director of All3DP, emphasized that the company operates at a profitable level, and Craftcloud has recorded a 60% year-on-year growth. The new funding will help leverage current favorable market conditions and boost growth through effective marketing efforts.
It is also worth to know, that Plica is a very experienced and successful entrepreneur. Before entering the 3D printing industry, he was CEO of CHIP magazine for 10 years, which was sold to Burda Media - one of the largest publishing houses in Europe.
